Previously, it was called Thamo Buk Waterfall, meaning broken rock which referred to the broken sandstone rock that was falling down. Trai Khiri, the new name, is called because the water source is from the three mountains of Phanom Dong Ruk Mountain Range: Khao Chad, Khao Nop, and Khao Phanom Yao. The waterfall is surrounded with the fruitfulness of the natural forest. It is the 2-meter high and 10-meter wide waterfall located 20-kilometer far from Bua Ched District.
